In depth

About Store

Store is Green Line's ventilated paint storage cabinet — a storage cabinet for paint and lacquer that comes in three widths – 100, 150 and 195 cm. It is the cabinet for the workshop that wants the paint stock gathered, easy to survey and ventilated all in one place.

Ventilated storage is not just a matter of following the regulations. Paint and solvent give off vapours even in closed packaging, and an unventilated paint cabinet becomes, over time, a concentrated vapour source in the middle of the workshop. Store carries the vapours away continuously and thereby protects staff even when no one is standing at the cabinet.

Where it is used

The cabinet is used as the workshop's paint store, on its own or combined with Tiro for the materials that require extra-compact storage. The spacious and easily accessible design gives a full overview of the stock, which in practice means colours get used instead of being forgotten at the back of a shelf.

Three widths mean the cabinet can be matched to the size of the range without the workshop paying for space it does not need.

Engineering and construction

The exhaust air can be placed freely at the rear of the cabinet, which makes the connection to the ventilation system easy however the ducts are already routed in the premises. It is a detail that often decides whether an installation is simple or costly.

The construction prevents spillage and contamination: the material stands steady, and anything that does leak stays in the cabinet instead of reaching the floor. Store is delivered fully assembled and is ready to fill straight away on delivery.

Installation and operation

Ventilation data per size can be found in the technical comparison below. Since the cabinet is delivered fully assembled, the installation is in practice a matter of placement and ventilation connection. Contact us and we'll go through which width suits your range.

Sizing your paint storage

Store comes in three widths — 100, 150 and 195 cm — so the paint storage can be matched to the size of the range instead of the workshop paying for shelf metres it does not fill. If you need more compact storage for particular materials, Store is combined with Tiro.

Ventilated cabinets for paint and solvent are not just about tidiness, but about the working environment: storage of flammable liquid is covered by regulations, and the ventilation keeps vapour levels down even when no one is standing at the cabinet. We help you choose the width and assess how the storage is best solved in your particular premises.

Frequently asked questions

Why does a paint cabinet need to be ventilated?

Paint and solvent give off vapours even in closed packaging. An unventilated paint cabinet becomes, over time, a concentrated vapour source in the middle of the workshop. Store carries the vapours away continuously and protects staff even when no one is standing at the cabinet.

Where is the exhaust air placed?

Freely at the rear of the cabinet. That makes the connection easy however the ducts are already routed in the premises – a detail that often decides whether the installation is simple or costly.

Is assembly required?

No. Store is delivered fully assembled and is ready to fill straight away on delivery. In practice the installation is a matter of placement and ventilation connection.

Check the dimensions first

The cabinet is 212 cm high and does not fit upright through a standard doorway (often ~200 cm). Lay it down on its long side, slide it in and stand it up in place – the ceiling height you need depends on the width (the diagonal when tilting it upright): Store 100 approx. 2.4 m, Store 150 approx. 2.6 m, Store 195 approx. 2.9 m. Contact us if you are unsure.
