Access at height, without risking the fall

Refinishing the roof of a truck, replacing a window on a bus or maintaining a train set all require someone to reach and work several metres up. The alternatives are often ladders, scaffolding or improvised solutions — and falls are one of the most common causes of serious injury in the workshop environment.

The Wall-Man and Liftman personnel lifts are built for exactly that problem. They are pneumatic, ATEX-certified and therefore approved for use in spray booths and other explosive environments where electric lifts are not permitted.

Three solutions for different workshops

Wall-Man is wall-mounted. It takes up no floor space at all, which makes it the first choice in spray booths and confined spaces where every square metre is needed for the vehicle.

Liftman is a mobile work platform that rolls to wherever the work is — suitable for refinishing, assembly and maintenance of large vehicles and industrial projects where the workplace moves around.

Liftman Fold has a folding mast that lets the lift pass through low doorways and work both indoors and outdoors. It suits anyone doing jobs across several sites who needs to bring the lift along.

Ergonomics and service life

A lift that places the painter at the right working height removes the reaching and twisting that wear out shoulders and backs over time. The effect is hard to measure quarter by quarter but clear over a working lifetime.

The equipment is engineered for a service life of up to 25 years and 50,000 working hours, with low maintenance requirements. Compared with manual work, the time per job is reduced by up to 30 per cent, depending on the solution and how it is used. We're happy to work out the payback period for your particular workshop.
