Features

Mobile access — without electricity in the hazardous zone

Fully pneumatic operation

No electrical installations at all — Liftman runs solely on compressed air and is CE-, UL- and ATEX-certified. Safe in spray booths and other explosion-classified environments.

Small footprint, long reach

Takes up limited floor space and has a small turning radius for easy access around the vehicle. Works within a radius of up to 10 metres from the air connection via a self-retracting hose reel in the base.

Everything controlled from the basket

Lifting and steering with a joystick in the basket, driving with a foot pedal in the basket floor. A compressed-air outlet for spray equipment and tools is provided right in the basket.

Ready to use

Delivered ready to use with a full safety package: emergency lowering of the basket, protection against pressure loss and chain slack, a non-slip basket floor, self-closing door latches and an attachment point for a safety harness.

Why workshops choose Liftman

About Liftman

Liftman is a fully pneumatic, mobile work platform for workshops where the workplace moves around. It runs solely on compressed air — no electrical installations at all — and is CE-, UL- and ATEX-certified. That is what allows it to be used in spray booths and other spaces where solvent vapours turn electrical equipment into an ignition source.

Where a ladder forces the painter to keep their balance with a spray gun in hand, Liftman provides a stable floor to stand on. The difference is not only safety but also quality: someone standing firmly can keep an even distance from the surface and lay down a more even finish.

Applications

In the workshop, Liftman is used for refinishing, assembly and maintenance of large vehicles and industrial projects — lorries, buses, train sets, wind-turbine components. Its small turning radius means it can be moved freely between booths and workstations without rebuilding the premises.

Everything is controlled from the basket: lifting and steering with a joystick, driving with a foot pedal in the basket floor. There is a compressed-air outlet in the basket for spray equipment, so the painter doesn't have to climb down to change tools.

Safety and operation

The lift is delivered ready to use with a full safety package: emergency lowering of the basket, protection against sudden pressure loss, protection against chain slack, a non-slip basket floor, a warning horn and an attachment point for a safety harness. Maintenance needs are low because there is no electronics to break down.

If you need to pass through low doorways or work outdoors, there is Liftman Fold, with a folding mast. We help you choose the right model, deliver it ready to use and train your staff on site — free advice with no obligation.

Pays for itself

Work out the payback on your Liftman

A 30 per cent efficiency gain sounds abstract — here's what it looks like in SEK. The figures are conservative and simplified; adjust the sliders to match your workshop.

How did we work this out?

The example assumes 1 person, 3,000 SEK per person per day (including employer's contributions, conservatively estimated), 250 working days per year and a 30 per cent efficiency gain. The 180,000 SEK investment is an example. Annual saving = people × cost/day × (efficiency × working days).

The calculation is a simplified indication — not a definitive ROI. Actual results vary with utilisation, labour cost and how much Liftman is used. We're happy to run the numbers on your real figures.
