Efficient paint mixing and storage
Mix is a ventilated paint mixing bench for professional paint handling – a mixing cabinet purpose-designed for efficient paint mixing and safe storage, including of isocyanate-containing products. Ventilated base units and a work bench with a supply-air box at the front give optimal air circulation and a clean, fresh working environment.
Ventilated base units and work bench together with a supply-air box at the front secure optimal air circulation and minimise harmful vapours.
Delivers clean, fresh air straight to the workstation for a healthy working environment.
Meets the requirements for safe handling of isocyanates and solvents.
Prepared for built-in lighting – optimal light for precision mixing (accessory).
An organised workstation for higher productivity and a smoother workflow.
Robust materials for long service life. Manufactured in Sweden.
In depth
Mix is Green Line's ventilated mixing bench and comes in three widths – 100, 150 and 195 cm. It is built for the step that decides the whole paint result: mixing the right colour, in the right quantity, under conditions where the painter can see what they are doing.
Paint mixing is also the step where the painter stands closest to the material for the longest time. That is why ventilation is not an add-on feature in Mix but the foundation of the design. Both the work bench and the base units are ventilated, giving an air circulation that carries vapours away continuously rather than letting them build up in the work zone.
The bench is used in the mixing room as the workshop's central mixing station. Mix comes in three sizes, and the size is governed by how many colours are handled in parallel and how much bench space the work requires: Mix 100 for the compact workshop, Mix 195 for sites where several people work at the bench or where large batches are mixed.
Mix meets the requirements for safe handling of isocyanates and solvents, which makes it useful whatever paint system the workshop works with.
A supply-air box at the front of the bench delivers clean, fresh air straight to the workstation. That means the air the painter breathes comes from outside, not from the workshop – a decisive difference in a space where sanding dust and solvent vapours would otherwise circulate.
The bench is prepared for a built-in LED luminaire, ordered as an accessory. The right light at the mixing stage is the precondition for judging colour correctly, and a misjudged colour costs far more than the luminaire. Mix is manufactured in Sweden from robust materials.
The ventilation requirement varies with the width – Mix 195 requires 1750 m³/h of exhaust air. See the technical comparison below for full data per size. Get in touch and we'll help you choose the right width and size the connection to your existing ventilation.
Frequently asked questions
Mix 100 suits the compact workshop, Mix 195 sites where several people work at the bench or where large batches are mixed. The choice is governed by how many colours are handled in parallel and how much bench space the work requires.
It delivers clean, fresh air straight to the workstation. The air the painter breathes therefore comes from outside, not from the workshop – a decisive difference in a space where sanding dust and solvent vapours would otherwise circulate.
Yes. Mix meets the requirements for safe handling of isocyanates and solvents, whatever paint system the workshop works with.
The exhaust-air figures in the table apply when Mix is to function as a fume cabinet – for example in an open space or a mixing room not built for the purpose. In a purpose-built, well-ventilated mixing room, Mix can instead be run as a ventilated cabinet with substantially lower exhaust air. This is a general guideline; what is actually required is governed by the room's zone classification plan and applicable regulations, so always check the installation against it. We'll help you size it correctly.
The cabinet is 225 cm high and does not fit upright through a standard doorway (often ~200 cm). Lay it down on its long side, slide it in and stand it up in place – the ceiling height you need depends on the width (the diagonal when tilting it upright): Mix 100 approx. 2.5 m, Mix 150 approx. 2.7 m, Mix 195 approx. 3.0 m. Contact us if you are unsure.
During paint mixing the light is decisive – you must be able to judge the colour precisely at the bench. Mix can be prepared for a built-in luminaire (accessory) that gives even working light across the mixing surface. Which Ex rating the luminaire needs is determined by the room's zone classification plan – get in touch and we'll choose the right one together.
